HELP!
I am throwing several baby showers in the near future (some nearer than others) and would love it if you could list your ALL TIME best Baby Shower game. Did I mention that some were nearer than others? (yeah, i think i did...) Your quick attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Uhhh, having never been pregnant nor to a baby shower, I can only suggest what sounds like fun.
My suggestion - Baby Twister. Instead of right hand red, make it like right hand baby rattle or bassonett. What fun would that be to see some 8-1/2 month pregnant mom flailing around trying to reach her left leg over her right hand. HA! I'm thinking this will be a new craze at baby showers.

A few that I've played:
Baby BINGO - everyone gets a blank bingo sheet and writes what they think the new mom will receive as gifts (one gift in each section on the sheet). As the mom opens her gifts, the players cross off the ones that they had correct. You know the rest.
Dirty Diapers - crush different kinds of candy bars in clean baby diapers (one bar in each). Have the players pass the diapers around the room, smell them and try to guess what kind of candy bar it is. Tasting is cheating!
How much do you know about the new mom survey - Ten or so questions pertaining to the new mom. See who can answer the most. (When is the baby's due date? What did mom crave during pregnancy? What names has she picked out? When was baby conceived? etc.)

ok I don't know about favorite games, but here are some...1.take all the lables off the baby food jars and then they have to taste and or smell and guess what they are. 2.Get about 5 or six diapers and put all different kinds of chocolate bars in them. One in each of course. Then individually put them in the microwave and melt them slightly. They look like poop and guests have to smell and distinguish which candy bar they are. That one gets alot of "ooo gross" and laughs.3. of course the old faithful, put a bunch of things on a tray and guests have 3 minutes or whatever time you want to remember everything on the tray. Noelle, I've played a LOT of baby shower games, and not very many of them were "fun"... but here are the ones that I think were good:
1. You did this at Jennie's -- practicing feeding the baby blindfolded with a spoon, cotton balls
2. We did this at Elsa Vadakekut's baby shower, and it was hilarious... using the letters from both parents' names (in that case, we had elsasamvadakekut) and make as many baby names as you can. The results are hilarious. The person with the most original (no one else has them) names wins.
3. the "taboo" game is fun in any setting... make a list of words no one can say (in this case, baby, diaper, due, etc.) and give everyone 5 bows or baby clothespins or whatever you have that's thematic. If you say the word, the first person who calls you on it gets a bow. At the end of the party, the person with the most bows wins. (I really suck at this game!)

How about the diaper game...this is for real...kind of gross but a hit! Get several new diapers and fill them with crushed up candy bars...yes I said it was kind of gross...then pass them around and have them guess what is in the diaper. Be sure to have a labeling system so you don't forget whats inside! I usually number them and make a note to which is which!
Also baby bingo...pretty easy...just cards with baby stuff on them and call out bottle, rattle, etc...just like bingo.
