Time to Update

It's been too long....the silence must be broken. I admit I have been a slacker, but with plenty reason.

Much has happened in recent weeks, mounting sickness with finally a bit of light at the end of the tunnel ( a little relief has begun.) Closed on our house, husband left for 2 weeks to India, I'm trying to coordinate house remodel stuff, house move in. Angelina and I have been staying at Grandmas house in Brad's absence.

At any rate I've been busy, I am sorry for neglecting this blog, and you my readers...but fear not, you are not the only thing I've neglected. Christmas is just around the corner...some of my more organized friends are completely done with their shopping. Not me. I've got plenty to do yet...and when will I do it???? I don't know.

In the midst of the recent changes, stuff, stress, I've been so blessed. God has really, really taken care of me.

One of the highlights of the year has been Angelina...Though this will be her 3rd Christmas, this is the first one where she is just thrilled about it. She talks about it every day. We talk about Jesus' Birthday, Santa coming to town. It is so much fun. Every Christmas lit home is a wonder to her. It makes everything magical all over again. I can't wait until next week when my home is somewhat in order and we can put up a tree. I know she will LOVE it. Now is the time when we can begin traditions with her. What an amazing thing to be a part of someone's life, shaping who they are, helping them feel loved, and discover who they are and who those around them are.

She really is keen on what everyone is feeling lately. If she thinks you're upset, she'll ask. "Mommy are you having a bad day?" The other day when we were rushing to get stuff done for Brad's trip and close on our house and the inevitable glitches hit...she said, "Mommy, is it raining on daddy?" I said, "Yeah, something like that."

Anyway, if you think of me pray...for strength, wisdom, help...
